2016 Barbera La Collina | El Dorado County

The La Collina vineyard high up in El Dorado County attains bright acid in every vintage, emphasizing the tart cherry flavors reminiscent of the Stella cherry. High acids bring the wine into balance and the extra hang time helped to round out the mid-palate and develop the fine finish. Wonderful to experience now, this wine will develop beautifully over the next year and will easily stay vibrant for five years or more.
